Ingredients -

okonomiyaki

  • 50g

    chives

  • 60ml

    dashi

  • 3

    eggs

  • 50g

    flour

  • 50g

    pak choi

  • 2

    spring onions

toppings

  • katsuobushi flakes

  • Kewpie mayo

  • okonomiyaki sauce

  • toasted sesame seeds

Adjust number of okonomiyaki:

Method -

  • Combine the flour, eggs and dashi to form a batter.

  • Shred the cabbage and add it to the batter, along with the chopped chive and the spring onions.

  • Pour the batter in an pan that has been heating with some oil.

  • Cook on each side until golden brown and the veg is cooked but not soft.

  • Move to a serving plate and add the toppings.

Okonomiyaki sauce is just an equal mix of Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and oyster sauce, plus a little sugar
